Organize PDF Pages, free and private
Organize PDF pages on one thumbnail grid. Delete pages you don't need, drag the rest into the right order, rotate sideways pages and insert blank pages, then save a new PDF.
Typical jobs: remove the blank backs from a double-sided scan, move a signature page to the front, or add a blank page before a new chapter. Everything happens in your browser, so the PDF is never uploaded.
How to delete and reorder PDF pages

Open your PDF
Press Select PDF files or drop a document onto the page. Each page appears as a thumbnail labelled with its original page number. Use the zoom buttons for bigger or smaller thumbnails.

Delete and rotate pages
Click a page to select it, or Shift-click and Ctrl-click (⌘ on a Mac) to select several. Use Delete and the rotate buttons in the bar that appears. Deleted pages stay greyed out in place so you can restore them, and the counter shows how many pages the new PDF will have.

Reorder and add blank pages
Drag pages to a new spot. On a phone or tablet, press and hold a page first. Move to start, Move to end, Duplicate and Insert blank page work on every selected page. Double-click a page or press Space to see it large. Undo and redo cover every change.

Save and download
Press Save pages. The pages are copied into a new PDF in your order. Open Preview to check it, then press Download PDF. The file name ends in -edited.

Common ways to organize PDF pages
Most clean-up jobs mix a few page edits. For example:
- Remove the blank backs from a double-sided scan, plus cover sheets and separator pages.
- Fix the page order after scanning a stack in the wrong sequence, or after joining files with Merge PDF.
- Turn a sideways landscape page upright with the rotate buttons.
- Insert a blank page so a chapter starts on a right-hand page when printed double-sided.
- Delete pages with personal details before sharing the rest. If private content is on a page you need to keep, use Redact PDF.
Faster tools for single jobs
If you only need one change, a single-purpose tool can be quicker. Delete PDF Pages removes pages you tap or type, such as 2, 5-7. Extract PDF Pages saves chosen pages as one new PDF. Split PDF cuts a file into several parts. Rotate PDF turns many pages at once with Rotate all left or Rotate all right.
What to check before you share the new file
The new PDF is built from the pages you kept. Page content is unchanged, but some document-level extras are not copied:
- Bookmarks in the viewer's sidebar, and document details such as title and author.
- Fillable form fields may not work in the new file. Fill in and flatten the form first with Fill PDF Form.
- Files that block printing or copying open as normal. If the PDF asks for a password to open, remove it with Unlock PDF first. If thumbnails still don't appear, try Repair PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Add the PDF, select the pages you want to remove, press Delete and then Save pages. The new file has only the pages you kept. Delete PDF Pages also lets you type the pages, like 2, 5-7.
Drag each thumbnail to its new place, or select pages and press Alt with the left or right arrow key to move them one step at a time. The number badges show the final order before you save.
Yes. Select a page and press Insert blank page to add a blank page after it. The blank page has the same size as the page before it. Delete it to remove it again.
Yes. Select one or more pages and press Rotate right or Rotate left to turn them 90°. Press again for 180° or 270°.
Yes, before you save. Undo (Ctrl+Z, or ⌘Z on a Mac) steps back through every change, and Start over brings back every page in the original order.
