Pick Page ranges, Every N pages or Extract every page under Split mode.

For Page ranges, type ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10, or click the gap between two pages to cut there. Each range becomes its own PDF. For Every N pages, enter how many pages go in each file. Extract every page needs no input.

How to split a PDF online free
The three split modes cover the common jobs:
- Page ranges: type ranges separated by commas. 1-3, 5 gives two files, one with pages 1 to 3 and one with page 5. Open ranges work too. 9- runs from page 9 to the end, and -3 means pages 1 to 3.
- Every N pages: a new PDF every N pages. A 30-page file split every 10 pages gives three PDFs. The last file can be shorter if the count does not divide evenly.
- Extract every page: one PDF per page, all in one ZIP. Good for scanned receipts, invoices or certificates saved in one file.
Chosen pages in one file, or pages removed
Split PDF makes one file per range. If you want pages 2, 7 and 15 together in a single PDF, use Extract PDF Pages. To remove pages and keep the rest, use Delete PDF Pages. To reorder pages, use Delete / Reorder. To join parts again later, use Merge PDF.
What to check after splitting
The new files are built from the copied pages. Page content is unchanged, but some document-level extras are not copied:
- Bookmarks and document details such as title and author.
- Fillable form fields may stop working in the split files, so fill in and flatten a form before you split it.
- Files that block printing or copying split as normal. If the PDF asks for a password to open, remove it first with Unlock PDF.
