Why use PDFToolz for this
Type on flat forms
Many forms are printed PDFs or scans with no fields to click. Place text on the blank lines, then print or send the file.
Accents and other alphabets
Text is drawn with a font that covers Latin letters with accents, Greek and Cyrillic, so names like Łukasz, Ștefan or Ελένη come out right.
Right spot on every page
Text lands where you clicked, even on pages that are rotated or were cropped before.
Free and private
No account or watermark, and the PDF never leaves your device.
How to add text to a PDF
Type the text first, then click. Each click places one copy of the current text, so to fill in a form, type the first answer, click its line, type the next answer, click again, and so on. Change the size or color between clicks if you need to.
Text sizes are in points, the same unit as in Word. 10 to 12 points matches most printed forms.
Add text or fill the form?
If the PDF has real form fields, the boxes you can click in a PDF reader, Fill PDF Form is the better choice. It fills the fields themselves, and they stay neat. Use Add Text to PDF for forms without fields and for notes anywhere on a page.
For highlights, drawings, shapes, images and links, use Edit / Annotate PDF, which has all of those tools.
Can the text be changed later?
The text becomes part of the page, like printed text. Other people can't move or edit it in a normal PDF reader. To make a change, add the text again to your original file.
