Extract Pages from PDF, free and private

Extract pages from a PDF for free. Tap the pages you need, or type them as 1-3, 8, and save just those pages as one new PDF. Use it to send one chapter, one invoice from a monthly batch or the signed pages of a contract.

Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so the text stays sharp and selectable. The file is read in your browser and never uploaded.

How to extract pages from a PDF

  1. 1

    Add your PDF

Press Select a PDF or drop the file onto the page. Every page appears as a thumbnail.

  2. 2

    Pick the pages

Tap each page you want. It gets a tick. Or type the pages in the Pages to extract box, like 1-3, 8. Typed pages keep the order you type, so 8, 1-3 puts page 8 first.

  3. 3

    Extract and download

Press Extract pages and then Download PDF. The file name shows the pages it holds, for example report-pages-1-3_8.pdf.

Why use PDFToolz for this

One new PDF

Every page you pick goes into a single file. To get each range as its own file instead, use Split PDF.

Your order

Tapped pages follow the original order. Typed pages follow the order you type them in. Tapping a page after typing sorts the list back into page order.

No quality loss

Pages are copied with their text, images and web links. Nothing is converted to an image. Bookmarks are not carried over.

Free and private

No account or page limit, and the PDF never leaves your device.

How to extract pages from a PDF

Tap the thumbnails for a few pages. For many pages, type them: separate single pages and ranges with commas, like 2, 5-9, 14. 20- means page 20 to the end, and -3 means the first three pages.

The counter under the box shows how many pages are picked, so you can check before you save.

Extract pages or split the PDF?

Extract PDF Pages always makes one file. Split PDF makes one file per range, or cuts the document every few pages, and downloads the files in a ZIP. If you want the opposite of extracting, keeping everything except a few pages, use Delete PDF Pages.
